Lunchtime Laugh – A Christmas Song

When you wake up at 4am with your brain playing Walking In A Winter Wonderland on repeat, the words gets changed. This is the result…

Laying In a Hazy Wonderland

Ears do ring, are you listening?
In the street rain is p*ssing
A dull and drab night
We’re grumpy tonight
Laying in a hazy wonderland.

Gone away is the lively bird
Here to stay is the sleepy bird
We yawn a good song
As we sloth along
Laying in a hazy wonderland.
In the field we can’t build a snowman
Not much energy going around
People ask, are you better? We’ll say no man
I’ll never do a job or go to town.
Later on, it’ll transpire
As we scald ourselves on the fire
To face unafraid
Cancel plans that we’ve made
Laying in a hazy wonderland.
In the field we’ll never build a snowman
We can pretend but then we’ll look like clowns
There’s no fun without Mister Snowman
But at least this time they’ll never knock it down
Ears do ring, are you listening?
In the street rain is p*ssing
A dull and drab night
We’re grumpy tonight
Laying in a hazy wonderland.
