Sarah Galvão Completes Historic Four-Gold Sweep Across the 2026 Pan Championships

At the 2026 IBJJF Pan No-Gi Championship in Secaucus, New Jersey, Sarah Galvão won both the adult middleweight and absolute black-belt divisions. The Atos standout had already captured lightweight and absolute gold at the 2026 Pan Jiu-Jitsu Championship, giving her four Pan titles across gi and no-gi in the same calendar year. [57]

Why it matters: The sweep places Galvão among the sport’s most significant current competitors and demonstrates championship-level versatility across weight classes and rule sets.

Social hook: Four Pan titles in one year: Sarah Galvão just swept both gi and no-gi.

André Galvão returned to IBJJF competition for the first time in six years at the Pan No-Gi Championship, reaching the adult black-belt super-heavyweight final. Galvão then yielded the final to Atos teammate and student Natã Tenca, who received the gold medal on October 4 in Secaucus. [58]

Why it matters: The appearance marked a notable competitive comeback for one of the most decorated athletes and influential coaches in modern jiu-jitsu, while Tenca secured a major black-belt title.

2026 Pan No-Gi Produces Major Titles for Pawel Jaworski, Sarah Galvão and Helena Crevar

The IBJJF Pan No-Gi Championship concluded October 4 with Pawel Jaworski winning his adult medium-heavyweight division and open class, while Sarah Galvão also claimed double gold. ADCC champion Helena Crevar was among the other major names to win a black-belt title, and the official IBJJF results list Art of Jiu-Jitsu as the leading adult men’s team and Atos as the leading adult women’s team. [59]

Why it matters: The tournament was one of the season’s largest no-gi events, with more than 2,300 registered athletes and several recent ADCC standouts returning to competition. The results also reinforce Jaworski’s position as one of the division’s leading pound-for-pound athletes.

Social hook: The Pan No-Gi champions are crowned—and Pawel Jaworski and Sarah Galvão both leave with double gold.
